Larry Colclasure
Sexual addiction is a complex addiction, but there is hope! As a trained Certified Sex Addiction Therapist (CSAT), I have attended many trainings with Dr. Patrick Carnes and many other wonderful and experienced professionals. I have over 25 years of experience in this field, which helps me as I come alongside others struggling with this addiction.
Bruce Thomas
Bruce has spent the last 25+ years helping individuals recover from sexual abuse and related trauma. He has expanded his counseling practice to also work with those suffering from sexual addiction and sexual dysfunction. There are evidenced-based, proven ways to overcome problems that seem to have no solutions. There is hope. Bruce strongly encourages the combination of individual counseling and group recovery therapy because “there are no Lone Rangers in recovery.” Through empathy, encouragement, and a keen listening ear, Bruce helps each of his clients find a confidential, safe space to breathe, regather themselves, and create new solutions to ongoing obstacles. He is steadfast in his desire to see people find help and wholeness and believes in healing for the brokenhearted and freedom for the captives of “the crazy cycle.”
Bruce has spent the majority of his adult life working with trauma and abuse victims and understands how these tragedies can impact all relationships. He and his wife have been married for over two decades and are the proud parents of four sons. Having overcome enormous challenges of his own, Bruce knows first-hand how important it is to find the right professional help for you. Bruce is a graduate of The University of Georgia and holds two master’s degrees from Dallas Theological Seminary. He is a licensed LMFT/LPC Associate in Texas and is a CSAT candidate with the International Institute for Trauma & Addiction Professionals. Bruce is also a Certified Sex Therapist candidate with the American Board of Christian Sex Therapists and Institute for Sexual Wholeness. He is a trauma informed practitioner in TBRI (Trust Based Relational Intervention) therapy for children, youth, and young adults that come from difficult places. In his free time, Bruce enjoys dating his wife, SEC football, Catan, Survivor, The Office, Seaside Beach, helping Romanian orphans, and being the loudest fan at his son’s sporting events.
